Nestled in the rolling foothills of Priddis, this project is a truly magnificent feat of planning, execution, and perseverance. Completed in 2013, the massive residential project provided the residents a landscape that was worthy of the spectacular views that surrounded their property.
With the preservation of the natural beauty of the Foothills at the forefront of the landscape design, it was imperative that the existing landscape was incorporated into the design. Over one-hundred and fifty native large caliper trees and four-hundred and fifty native shrubs were planted throughout the property, to ensure a seamless natural transition. Manicured sod areas as well as native seeded grass areas were incorporated to bring the softscapes together as one entity. To mitigate a substantial grade change at the south west corner of the property a sandstone boulder retaining wall was constructed to provide a smooth transition of grades furthermore, sandstone boulders were strategically placed throughout the property to add color and texture to the project.
