Alpha Better Group of companies was started in 1979 by brothers Phil and Barry Paxton with the flagship company Alpha Better Landscaping. The Paxton brothers are committed to growing their presence in the landscape industry and now have five operating companies under the Alpha Better Group umbrella. 

It is through the commitment of their long term employees that the company has succeeded in becoming one of Calgary’s premier landscape companies. The President Phil Paxton says “We have several employees who have been with us for over 10 years, and some over 15. I know everyone says their employees are the backbone of the company, but in our organization it is true. Every day we draw on our team’s wealth of knowledge and expertise to deliver exceptional results to our customers.”
